Sales & Marketing Strategy Associate

Paro is seeking a self-starting professional to serve as the Swiss Army Knife supporting Paro’s sales and marketing teams’ strategy and operations. This individual will drive go-to-market strategies, sales ops, multi-channel outreach, growth analytics, CRM optimization, and a litany of high-impact projects… including those that they identify.

The Sales & Marketing Strategy Associate will report directly to Paro’s Head of Sales and regularly collaborate with a team of experienced Finance, Sales, Operations and Marketing stakeholders.

Who you are

  • Have 2-4 years of experience, with a combination of direct sales and sales operations exposure
  • Seamlessly transition from strategy development to operational execution
  • Can lead an introductory workshop on email deliverability best practices
  • Thrive when given holistic project ownership, from conception, business planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution through automation and/or ongoing management
  • Are self-motivated with an entrepreneurial ambition to get the job done
  • Get excited about big, hairy, aggressive growth targets
  • Build synergies between Sales, Marketing, Operations Product, and other functional teams
  • Deploy a rigorous, analytical thought process to solve business problems – a self-described data junkie
  • Think fast, hustle, and laugh a lot

What You’ll Do

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales & marketing holistic performance, and drive resulting initiatives from ideation through design, executive team alignment, execution, and ongoing management
  • Optimize the end-to-end funnel from Marketing through Sales to Account Management
  • Refine both strategic and technical aspects of outbound prospecting channel (sales enablement/automation, account targeting, managing domain deliverability, AB testing campaigns, etc.)
  • Automate manual processes through in-house development and implementation of off-the-shelf tools
  • Design, test, and scale new operational processes
  • Own Sales & Marketing KPIs, including analyses that are visible to Board of Directors, investors, and Paro leadership. We have pretty a pretty expansive suite of KPIs that I’d love you to gut in favor of more powerful metrics!
  • Direct Salesforce operations and ongoing enhancements, particularly to empower reps to improve their own productivity
  • Influence variable compensation strategy and drive commission process
  • Add to the culture and change the trajectory of our growth by being your awesome self

Nice to haves

  • Direct experience scaling Salesforce architecture
  • Background in high-growth startups is a big plus; experience fine-tuning growth engines is even better
  • Desire to leverage a highly successful sales background to build overarching, scalable sales processes
